Mark Buccheri is Associate Director in charge of Development at the Conservatory. As a pianist, teacher, and artist, he has performed at numerous New York city venues such as the Austrian Cultural Forum, Bowery Poetry Club, Brooklyn Bowl, Bellhouse, Galapagos Art Space, and WKCR radio in classical, rock, and world contexts. He has taught piano and music theory at Performing Arts Conservatory of New York since 2008, keyboard at Taalim School of Indian Music, and online Music Appreciation at Sante Fe College in New Mexico. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Northwestern University and a Masters degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University. Over the years Mark has also played and taught the Indian tabla drum, created multimedia installation art pieces, directed short films, and constructed algorithmic sculpture.
