After years of helping underserved youths in Queens find their voice, the Performing Arts Conservatory of New York is now reaching out to you for support. We are asking for a year-end donation to help our programs stay strong for the future.
The experience of our student Jorge Quezada symbolizes what our school is all about: no matter what your background, no matter what difficulties you face, you can still discover an artistic passion here at the Conservatory. Jorge started with us as a young student barely speaking English, grew into a talented tenor singing in six different languages on stages all over New York City, and is also now a teacher at our school.
Can you help other kids like Jorge find their voice with us? We’re suggesting a donation of $52 — $1 for every week the school is open during the year offering its amazing educational programs — but we’d be very grateful for whatever amount feels right. In the crowdfunding spirit, even small donations of $5 or $10 are helpful, and those small gestures of support mean a lot to us. Watch this one minute video telling Jorge's story and make your contribution* here:
Donate and you will be invited to any of our regularly scheduled concerts, where our kids sing, dance, and play instruments, entertaining us while sharing in the joy of music. If you would like more information about who we are and what we offer, please take a look at our website: www.paconyschool.com
As always, we appreciate your support. If you know anyone else who'd be willing to contribute please don't hesitate to send this along to them. Thank you for being a fellow activist for the arts!
